{"id":21312,"date":"2026-06-14T15:52:30","date_gmt":"2026-06-14T10:22:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/banitoday.com\/market-rally-adds-rs-1-9-lakh-crore-to-top-10-firms-value-icici-bank-emerges-biggest-gainer\/"},"modified":"2026-06-14T15:52:30","modified_gmt":"2026-06-14T10:22:30","slug":"market-rally-adds-rs-1-9-lakh-crore-to-top-10-firms-value-icici-bank-emerges-biggest-gainer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/banitoday.com\/hi\/market-rally-adds-rs-1-9-lakh-crore-to-top-10-firms-value-icici-bank-emerges-biggest-gainer\/","title":{"rendered":"Market rally adds Rs 1.9 lakh crore to top 10 firms&#8217; value; ICICI Bank emerges biggest gainer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"e9jwa\">\n<div class=\"vdo_embedd\">\n<div class=\"GfdvZ\">\n<section class=\"_bIDB  clearfix id-r-component leadmedia undefined undefined  E9tg9 \" style=\"top:0px\">\n<div class=\"_bIDB\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">\n<div class=\"ypVvZ\">\n<div class=\"WGttI\"><img src=\"https:\/\/static.toiimg.com\/thumb\/msid-131718972,imgsize-857160,width-400,height-225,resizemode-4\/-.jpg\" alt=\"Market rally adds Rs 1.9 lakh crore to top 10 firms' value; ICICI Bank emerges biggest gainer\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"0\"\/>The combined market capitalisation of eight of India&#8217;s 10 most-valued companies rose by Rs 1.90 lakh crore last week, with <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/icici-bank\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\">ICICI Bank<\/a> emerging as the biggest gainer as equities rallied, reported news agency PTI.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/>The gains came during a strong week for the markets, with the BSE Sensex climbing 1,284.61 points, or 1.73%, while the NSE Nifty advanced 256.2 points, or 1%.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/>&#8220;Indian equity markets ended a volatile week on a strong note, snapping a two-week losing streak amid improving global sentiment and supportive measures from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) aimed at attracting foreign currency inflows,&#8221; Ajit Mishra, SVP, Research, Religare Broking Ltd, said.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"12\"\/>Investor sentiment was also boosted by hopes of a potential US-Iran peace deal, which raised expectations of easing geopolitical tensions and stabilising energy markets, he added.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>Among the top-10 firms, <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/reliance-industries\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\">Reliance Industries<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/hdfc-bank\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\">HDFC Bank<\/a>, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Bajaj Finance, Larsen &amp; Toubro and Hindustan Unilever posted gains, while Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) saw declines in market valuation.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>ICICI Bank recorded the biggest increase, adding Rs 56,223 crore to take its market capitalisation to Rs 9,61,297.77 crore.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/>HDFC Bank&#8217;s valuation rose by Rs 38,571.11 crore to Rs 11,89,314.42 crore, while State Bank of India gained Rs 36,137.87 crore, taking its valuation to Rs 9,38,661.50 crore.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"25\"\/>Bajaj Finance added Rs 18,366.57 crore to reach Rs 5,71,947.54 crore, while Bharti Airtel&#8217;s market value increased by Rs 14,380.14 crore to Rs 11,10,530.63 crore.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"28\"\/>The valuation of Larsen &amp; Toubro climbed Rs 13,241.39 crore to Rs 5,57,197.83 crore, while Hindustan Unilever added Rs 10,984.34 crore to reach Rs 5,09,285.65 crore.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"30\"\/>Reliance Industries also saw its valuation rise by Rs 2,097.54 crore to Rs 17,49,418.94 crore.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"32\"\/>On the other hand, TCS lost Rs 13,296.47 crore in market value, taking its valuation to Rs 7,82,049.62 crore.
