<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\nThe Campus of Open Learning (COL), University of Delhi, has announced the start of admissions for its one-year certificate and diploma courses in eight foreign languages, along with several professional programmes offered through the Department of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE), School of Open Learning (SOL).COL Director Prof. Payal Mago said the foreign language programmes are available in German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The courses are being offered in collaboration with the Department of Germanic and Romance Studies and the Department of East Asian Studies at the University of Delhi.She said the Open Learning Development Centre (OLDC) will soon introduce these programmes in online mode to make language education accessible to learners across the country. This will allow students from different regions to enrol and attend the courses remotely.The university is also expanding its language offerings with the launch of one-year certificate and diploma courses in Russian. These programmes are being introduced in collaboration with the Department of Slavonic and Finno-Ugrian Studies, University of Delhi, and will be available in both classroom and online modes.Alongside the language courses, admissions for flagship programmes under DDCE, SOL, COL will begin on June 17, 2026.
