As a result, Raveendran will not be required to surrender on June 15 as previously directed.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/>The law firm also said it filed an appeal against the contempt ruling.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"7\"\/>The stay marks the latest development in a long-running cross-border legal battle involving the Byju\u2019s founder, lenders and investors.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"11\"\/>Last month, the Singapore court sentenced Raveendran to six months in jail for contempt arising from alleged non-compliance with asset disclosure orders.
