Patil Vidyapeeth, Pimpri, has formally received membership of AACSB International, one of the world\u2019s most recognised bodies for business education, marking a significant step in its efforts to align with global academic standards.The AACSB membership certificate was presented by Prathap Das, Regional Head \u2013 Asia, AACSB International, to Dr Smita Jadhav, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, during a ceremony held on the GBSRC campus on June 5. The event was attended by senior university officials, faculty members and staff.Receiving the certificate on behalf of the institution, Dr Jadhav said the membership reflected the university\u2019s long-term commitment to excellence, innovation and global relevance in management education.\u201cThe vision of Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth has always been to foster an environment of excellence, innovation and global relevance in management education. He said the membership demonstrates a school\u2019s commitment to quality, impact and innovation in business education.According to AACSB, fewer than five per cent of business schools worldwide achieve AACSB accreditation standards, making membership an important milestone for institutions seeking international recognition.University officials said the achievement would help GBSRC further strengthen its academic programmes, research initiatives and industry engagement, while enhancing opportunities for students and faculty. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks to faculty, staff and stakeholders who contributed to the institution\u2019s achievement.<\/div>\n
