<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nTrichy: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Trichy have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to facilitate joint research, student exchange and academic mobility between the them.The agreement, signed by Rangan Banerjee, director of IIT Delhi<\/a>, and G Aghila, director of NIT Trichy, seeks to establish a framework for collaborative academic and research activities.Eligible students will also have opportunities for early admission to MTech, MS (research) and PhD programmes at IIT Delhi without the requirement of a GATE qualification, subject to meeting prescribed academic criteria. The collaboration will also facilitate joint research projects, co-supervision of postgraduate and doctoral scholars, faculty exchange programmes, credit transfer mechanisms and sharing of academic resources between the institutions.Speaking on the occasion, Aghila said the partnership would provide enhanced academic and research opportunities for students and faculty while fostering innovation and excellence.
