Vijayawada<\/span>:<\/span> Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu<\/a> has directed officials to develop a dedicated app to enable people to access all govt services online, in addition to the services being provided through Mana Mitra WhatsApp platform. The chief minister reviewed the functioning of the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) and field-level performance of various departments at the camp office on Tuesday. He stressed that govt services should be delivered to people without any inconvenience.Naidu said awareness should be created among the public about using govt services through Mana Mitra WhatsApp. He instructed officials to develop an app to make online access to services easier. The chief minister said rural anna canteens should provide services on par with those in urban areas. He directed officials to ensure efficient management of all anna canteens across the state. Naidu stressed the need for strict monitoring to prevent contamination. He instructed officials to collect drinking water samples every day and ensure that there was no negligence in maintaining quality standards.The chief minister called for greater public participation in sanitation programmes and said innovative initiatives should be taken to create awareness about environmental protection and cleanliness. He said the Jaladhara programme being implemented across the state should show visible results. He asked the officials to prepare tanks and ponds before the monsoon and ensure that rainwater was conserved effectively. He suggested bringing every pond and water body under an online monitoring system.Naidu also called for a technology-based system to regularly monitor and protect govt lands. He asked officials to study the pilot project being implemented in Anantapur district for safeguarding govt properties. Emphasising the need to curb ganja-related activities, the chief minister said strict action should be taken against cultivation, transportation, sale and consumption of ganja. He also directed officials to intensify efforts to prevent crimes against women and create awareness about punishments for offenders. Naidu said the Centre was showing interest in adopting new governance models introduced by Andhra Pradesh. He said the State was implementing technology-driven decision-making through systems like RTGS and AWARE, and these initiatives would be presented at the upcoming NITI Aayog meeting in Delhi.Minister Kolusu Parthasaradhi, chief secretary Sai Prasad and senior officials of various departments participated in the review meeting.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
