According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature is expected to remain between 42\u00b0C and 44\u00b0C on Tuesday and Wednesday. No heatwave warning has been issued yet. <!-- -->Relief, however, may be on the horizon, with rain forecast towards the end of the week, and the wet spell is expected to bring daytime temperatures to around 35\u00b0C-37\u00b0C by June 12 and 13, offering respite from the prevailing heat and humidity.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>On Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 41.6 degree Celsius, two notches above normal, against 40 degree Celsius a day earlier. The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.7 degree Celsius, season\u2019s normal against 26.4 degree Celsius a day earlier.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>\u201cA fresh western Disturbance is likely to affect Western Himalayan Region from 11th June. Rise in maximum temperatures by about 2\u00b0C during next 2 days, no large change during subsequent 2 days and fall by 4-6\u00b0C thereafter.
