Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination will be able to check and download their scorecards from the official websites, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in and karresults.nic.in, once the result link is activated.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"3\"\/>The KCET examination is conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses, including engineering, agriculture and pharmacy programmes offered by colleges across Karnataka.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Over 3.3 lakh candidates registered<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"7\"\/>According to official data, a total of 3,30,479 candidates registered for KCET 2026. Out of these, nearly 3.1 lakh to 3.2 lakh candidates appeared for the examination, which was conducted at 745 centres across the state.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"9\"\/>The entrance test was held on April 23 and April 24, 2026, in two shifts each day. <!-- -->The morning shift was conducted from 10:30 am to 11:50 am, while the afternoon shift took place from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>How to check <keyword id=\"36523335\" type=\"General\" weightage=\"20\" keywordseo=\"KCET-2026-result\" source=\"keywords\">KCET 2026 result<\/keyword><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>Candidates can follow these simple steps to download their KCET 2026 scorecards:<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"cdatainfo modify_cdata_list_style id-r-component \" data-pos=\"19\">\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u201cKCET Result 2026\u201d link available on the homepage.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the required login credentials.<\/li>\n<li>The KCET 2026 result will appear on the screen.<\/li>\n<li>Download and save the scorecard for future reference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>What happens after the result?<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"22\"\/>Based on the performance of candidates, KEA will prepare merit lists and assign ranks for various courses. Separate merit lists will be released for different categories as part of the admission process.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/>The ranks secured in KCET 2026 will be used for admission to engineering, agriculture, pharmacy and other professional courses offered by participating institutions in Karnataka.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/>Candidates seeking further information regarding the result or admission process can visit the official website of KEA or contact the authority through its official email support.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"29\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2 style=\"margin: 0px 0px 0.7em; line-height: 1.3; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 24px; background: 0px 0px; text-rendering: optimizelegibility;\">Answer key and objection process<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"31\"\/>KEA released the provisional answer key in April and invited objections from candidates who found discrepancies in the answers, after the examination. Students were allowed to submit challenges by paying a non-refundable fee.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"33\"\/>The objection window remained open until April 30.
