JAMMU: Cracking down on lapses in the handling of crimes against children, the SSP of J&K\u2019s Samba district suspended the SHO of Ramgarh police station, a sub-inspector, two ASIs, and a munshi over allegations of facilitating a compromise in a Pocso case. They have been attached to police lines pending an investigation into the charges.\u201cThis development comes as part of Samba police\u2019s ongoing efforts to ensure accountability and transparency. SSP Anuj Kumar, who assumed charge earlier this year, has been emphasising strict action against any misconduct by police personnel,\u201d an official said.In a related development, a special police officer has been transferred from Ramgarh police station to another police post.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
