From job takeovers to culture disruptions, they have been blamed for it all.While some claim it is the progress that makes others envious, others believe the issue to be a true reality. However, in a video quickly gaining traction on the internet, an American woman has revealed why White people often ask migrants to go back to their country. “I think when white people say go back to your country, it’s because we are jealous,” she began.She said that white people have an emptiness, a void regarding their identity. “We don’t know anything about where we are from. All we know is what we have been indoctrinated to believe for the last, 400 plus years. It is a binary construct,” she said.“When we see people who do not look like us, which is who we have been pitted against, we get very angry,” she explained. “Oh go back to your country, because you know where you are from, you have a home,” she said.She added that White people are very insecure around people who have other languages, foods, music, dresses. These people, she said have a connection to a culture, a heritage, an ethnicity, a land, and thus a connection to self. “You can see how many white people are not connected to self. All we do is live in defence, since you won’t decolonise. Our only defence is oh just go back to your country, but deep down, what we want is the connection that so many people who do not look like us have,” she said. She added that white people can learn from other countries but won’t because “we are Americans.”<\/p>\n The woman’s video resonated with many online, inviting praise and understanding.“Haha this American lady just articulated what most non-Westerners have long understood: the deep insecurity many Whites feel toward Indians isn\u2019t about our success or money. It\u2019s existential envy. They sense what they\u2019ve lost. A civilisation crushed, its roots burned away, and a foreign faith imposed in its place,” wrote a user on X.“I\u2019m shocked! A white person who isn\u2019t filled with hate!” added another.“Brilliant take. However for us the continuity was achieved through beliefs and values, and family is the fundamental entity of this. Over the past few decades there has been a significant loss of the family structure and the connection between family and our beliefs. Slow but dangerous,” remarked one.“True.
