It will be launched officially on June 05, 2026 in New Delhi.<!-- --> The move will position Green SM as a fresh rival to cab aggregators such as Ola and Uber.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"3\"\/>The company is expected to begin operations in the Delhi-NCR region before expanding to other major metropolitan cities. While VinFast has already entered the Indian passenger vehicle market with electric SUVs and a local assembly facility in Tamil Nadu, the brand\u2019s latest move signals a much broader mobility strategy for the country. <!-- -->Instead of focusing only on private buyers, VinFast is now targeting the high-visibility fleet mobility space through Green SM.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/>Green SM is the electric ride-hailing and mobility arm of Vietnam\u2019s Vingroup ecosystem, which also includes VinFast. Internationally, the service is also known as GSM or Green and Smart Mobility.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/> <span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>Unlike traditional aggregator-based taxi platforms, the India operation is expected to follow a fleet-owned and company-managed model. This means the operator will have tighter control over the vehicles, drivers, charging infrastructure, service standards and vehicle maintenance. <span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>The upcoming taxi service will use VinFast electric vehicles, with reports suggesting that the VinFast Limo Green could become the primary model for fleet operations in India. The model has already been spotted on Indian roads.
