The notification was issued on May 5, while the online registration process began on May 7.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/>The commission has also revised the total number of vacancies from 1230 to 1186 after 44 Sugarcane Officer posts were withdrawn and shifted under separate recruitment rules.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"9\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>How to apply for BPSC 72nd CCE 2026<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"11\"\/>Candidates can apply online by visiting the official <a href=\"https:\/\/bpsc.bihar.gov.in\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" target=\"_blank\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\">BPSC website<\/a>.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/>After opening the online application link, candidates need to complete registration, fill in personal and educational details, upload documents and pay the required fee before final submission.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>Applicants are advised to carefully verify all details before submitting the form.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/>The online application process is currently active and candidates can submit forms till May 31, 2026.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"22\"\/>Applicants from all categories have to pay an examination fee of Rs 100 online. Candidates who do not have Aadhaar authentication will also have to pay an additional biometric charge of Rs 200.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/>The preliminary exam will consist of 150 objective-type questions carrying negative marking of one-third marks for every wrong answer.
