<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\nNEW DELHI: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu<\/a> once again put focus on India-Israel warm ties early Friday, saying Israel receives \u201ccrazy love\u201d from India at a time when, according to him, much of the world seeks to \u201cdelegitimise\u201d the Jewish state.Addressing an event, Israeli PM said, “We have a unique relationship with a huge power called India. In India, there’s support for Israel.”\u201cWe face delegitimisation in much of the world – but not in India,\u201d Netanyahu said.\u201cIn India, there is an absolutely crazy love for Israel, truly crazy. I think I have more followers from India than from anywhere else,\u201d he added.Earlier, during Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/a>\u2019s visit to Israel in February, Netanyahu had also shared a personal anecdote involving his wife Sara and an Indian restaurant in Tel Aviv.Addressing a joint press conference with PM Modi, Netanyahu had said: \u201cI have to say at the end of this visit that I owe India \u2014 I don\u2019t know if I told you this, Narendra \u2014 but I owe India a great personal debt. You see, when I met Sara for the first time, I think our first or second date was in an Indian restaurant in Tel Aviv.\u201dHis recent remarks came months after PM Modi\u2019s visit to Israel, during which the two leaders appeared to share warm camaraderie.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
