Union Minister Nitin Gadkari<\/a> on Friday announced the rollout of India\u2019s first Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) barrier-less tolling system at the Chorayasi Toll Plaza on the Surat\u2013Bharuch stretch of NH-48 in Gujarat.The new system allows vehicles to pass through toll plazas without stopping, using technologies such as Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and FASTag<\/a> for seamless toll collection.The move marks a significant step in the digitisation of the country’s highway infrastructure, aiming to reduce congestion, cut travel time, improve fuel efficiency, and lower vehicular emissions.Gadkari said the barrier-less system will enhance \u201cEase of Living\u201d and boost \u201cEase of Doing Business\u201d by enabling faster movement of passengers and goods.He further hailed the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/a>, the initiative reflects the government\u2019s push towards building efficient, transparent, and technology-driven national highways.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
