NEW DELHI: The absence of Rohit Sharma once again grabbed the spotlight as Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya provided a crucial update on the veteran\u2019s return ahead of their IPL 2026 clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.Winning the toss, Hardik opted to bat first but confirmed that Rohit is still not match-ready. \u201cRohit\u2019s gonna take a couple of more games. He\u2019s been trying, it\u2019s not up to exactly where he would want, so not available for the team,\u201d Hardik said, effectively ruling him out in the immediate future while hinting at a gradual comeback route.<\/p>\n
