The pass percentage for Class 10th stands at 77.15%. This year, a total of 3,21,677 candidates were registered for the examination.<!-- --> Of these, 3,16,730 students appeared, including 1,40,402 boys and 1,76,328 girls.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/>Results have been declared for 3,14,953 candidates, while the remaining cases are either withheld or under different scrutiny categories. Out of the declared results, 2,43,016 candidates successfully passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 77.15%.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"7\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2 style=\"line-height:1.38;margin-top:18pt;margin-bottom:6pt;\">Girls outperform boys once again<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"9\"\/>A clear and consistent trend has reappeared in this year\u2019s results \u2014 girls have outperformed boys by a notable margin.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"cdatainfo modify_cdata_list_style id-r-component \" data-pos=\"14\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Girls pass percentage<\/strong>: 81.03%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Boys pass percentage<\/strong>: 72.27%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>The gap, more than eight percentage points, continues a pattern seen over previous years where female candidates have steadily maintained stronger academic outcomes.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>Education analysts often view this trend as a reflection of changing classroom dynamics, higher retention levels among girls, and improved participation in board-level examinations.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/>161 results withheld, over 1,600 applications rejected. The board has also flagged several categories of result restrictions:<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"cdatainfo modify_cdata_list_style id-r-component \" data-pos=\"21\">\n<ul>\n<li>Results of 161 candidates have been withheld<\/li>\n<li>15 cases linked to cheating<\/li>\n<li>143 cases under scrutiny category<\/li>\n<li>3 cases to be declared later<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"22\"\/>In addition, 1,616 candidates\u2019 applications were rejected due to lack of eligibility, adding another layer of administrative strictness to this year\u2019s examination cycle.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"25\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2 style=\"line-height:1.38;margin-top:18pt;margin-bottom:6pt;\">Merit list shows extreme competition at the top<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/>If the pass percentage shows scale, the merit list shows intensity.
