Vishal Dadlani opened up about his admiration for Zubeen Garg during the show. He opened up about the singer’s impact on the music industry: “Zubeen ki baat ki jaaye toh sahi mein he was something else and I feel unke jaise stardom maine nahi dekha hain.” (“Honestly, when we talk about Zubeen, he was truly something else, and I feel I have never seen stardom like his.”)

The singer also reflected on his personal connection with Zubeen Garg from the early days of his career. He explained how the late artist served as an inspiration during his formative years: “I knew him jab maine mera career start kiya tha (when I had started my career) and for us he was our idol and it just feels at times bad to know he is not around.”
Badshah calls Zubeen Garg a ‘true Indian Idol’
Fellow judge Badshah supported Vishal Dadlani’s sentiments on the show. Zubeen Garg’s passing and final days
Following the drowning incident, Zubeen was rescued by local authorities and admitted to the ICU at a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, doctors were unable to save him. According to the autopsy report the cause of death was drowning while swimming near a Singapore island.
