New Delhi: Six people, including two children, were injured after an LPG cylinder exploded inside a residential building in northwest Delhi’s Swaroop Nagar on Wednesday afternoon.Delhi Fire Services received a call regarding the incident, which took place in Gali No. 15, around 4pm. Four fire tenders, along with nearly 20 firefighters, were rushed to the spot. All the six injured individuals were undergoing treatment at a hospital. The condition of some of them is stated to be serious.Officials said the explosion took place on the ground floor of a three-storey building, where a family was cooking at the time. The blast caused injuries to those present inside the house and nearby. The injured have been identified as Aryan (13), Arushi (11), their mother Rekha (35), Rajeev Kumar (30), Virender (36) and Krishna (7).Police said they were examining the exact cause of the blast and whether any safety lapses led to the incident.
