Visakhapatnam: Two persons were killed in separate road crashes in parts of north Andhra Pradesh. In the first incident, a 70-year-old woman died on the spot after a speeding truck hit her at Naraval locality in Vizag city. The deceased was identified as K Rajeswari. The police said the incident took place when she was crossing the road to reach her home after visiting the nearby shop in their locality. In another incident, one person was killed, and another one sustained injuries after their bike skidded off the road in Srikakulam. The deceased was identified as Yukunta Rao, and the injured is V Appala Naidu. The police have shifted the injured to the hospital. A case has been registered, and the investigation is ongoing.
