Suspecting that someone was recording her, she left the bathroom and alerted the PG caretaker at 4.39pm.The caretaker knocked on the door of a room adjacent to the complainant’s room. After a brief delay, the occupant came out and denied any wrongdoing. However, during further questioning, he admitted to have placed his phone on the bathroom vent, Roopa told police. The suspect was brought to Bellandur police station, where his mobile phone was examined. A senior officer said, “We didn’t find the complainant’s bathing video on his phone. There is a possibility that he deleted the video or she spotted the phone before he recorded anything. We have sent the phone to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to retrieve data if any was deleted.”
